Women in Technology Program to Feature “The State of Diversity in Corporate America: The New Rules of Breaking the Glass Ceiling”

Women in Technology (WIT), the premier organization contributing to the success of professional women in the Washington technology community, today announced the agenda for the September WIT. Connect program, entitled “The State of Diversity in Corporate America: The New Rules of Breaking the Glass Ceiling.”

“We are honored to have Christine Griffin, a Commissioner on the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), address our September WIT.Connect audience. She brings to her position extensive experience in labor and employment law. At our September event, Ms. Griffin will share her advice on how we can pursue our goals of achieving success in today’s workplace, while continuing to help those women coming up behind us,” said Charlotte Pelliccia, President of Women in Technology.

From her EEOC vantage point, Ms. Griffin will share the status of sex and age discrimination as well as retaliation, and if we are seeing an increase or a decrease in discrimination overall. She will speak about where the EEOC is focusing its efforts and the types of cases they are handling. Details on the event are as follows:
