Salon City, Inc. Announces Format for Upcoming Web Series
Salon City, Inc. (OTC:SLON) announced today the format of its upcoming, and as-yet-unnamed, original web series. Each two-to-three minute webisode will be comprised of three key segments encompassing interviews with celebrities and other media personalities, fashion rights and wrongs, and hair and makeup tutorials given by celebrity stylists.
“Each webisode will be packed with interesting and useful tips,” said SCI president and CEO Steven Casciola. “It’s part of our plan to expand the audience for beauty entertainment.” Casciola promised additional surprises when the series premieres later this fall. “One really fun segment we’ve been working on is called Survival 101, where viewers will learn quick fixes for beauty-related emergencies.”
The webisodes will anchor Salon City Network, which will appear on saloncity.com as the site’s infotainment hub. The re-designed Saloncity.com will debut in time to showcase the web show. Product sponsors will see their brands featured in their own segments as well as integrated into the show’s content. SCI’s new web show revenue is expected to be generated from cross-promotional sponsor packages consisting of a four-tiered media buy: online ads, Web show branding/integration, print magazine advertising, and showcased exposure at major Salon City press events.
The web series is being created and produced by matrixx, a leading branded entertainment production company.
