Annual Survey Provides Reliable Compensation Benchmarks for the Industry
The Illinois IT Association announced today the opening of the 2007 Illinois Technology Industry Salary Survey.
Developed by ITA and its members, the annual survey is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of compensation for a variety of positions across the local technology industry. When the survey is completed, the results will provide reliable strategic benchmarks that companies can use to compare themselves to others in their market and more effectively set compensation in their own organizations. ITA asks all Illinois-based technology companies to participate.
“Salary information for Illinois technology companies in this level is detail is not available in any other place,” said Andrew Taylor, Chair of ITA’s Strategic Intelligence Committee. “It provides exactly the data that technology companies crave as they consider salary decisions.”
The survey is expected to take participants no more than thirty minutes to complete. After submission of their organization’s pertinent information, including employee size, title compensation and expected growth, fully compiled results will be made available solely to those who participated. The information provided by participants will be held strictly confidential by the ITA, and participants need not reveal their identity.
“ITA is committed to providing this type of information to the industry,” said Fred Hoch, president of the ITA. “We are pleased to fulfill this need for ITA’s member companies and others in the Illinois technology scene about how salaries in the industry are changing on an annual basis.”
The survey is powered by technology from Illinois firm SPSS, Inc.
Further information on how companies can participate can be found at http://survey4.spss-asp.com/Survey?I.Project=P5080002web. The deadline to respond is September 30th.
