Alaska Communications Systems Group, Inc. (“ACS”) (NASDAQ:ALSK), today announced the Friday, September 7th, Grand Opening of its newest retail store in Fairbanks, located at 410 Merhar Avenue, off the Johansen Expressway.

The official ACS Grand Opening is Friday, September 7th, and continues through Saturday, September 8th. To celebrate the store opening, customers may select from a variety of free cell phones or $25 RAZR cell phones when subscribing to wireless service. Customers also have a chance to win a laptop computer, complete with six months of free ACS Mobile Broadband. Store hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
